We’re celebrating moms everywhere this Mother’s Day with an adorable Mommy & Me Tea Party!
On Saturday, April 13th, 2024, former brides arrived at the Villa in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with their little ones ready to mix and mingle.
Designed by Muna Coterie Wedding Planner, Tanya Frazier of Graceful Designs, LLC, this special event was created to celebrate and encourage brides who have become moms.
Tanya shares, “We used this special time to encourage and motivate with a word presented from my former bride, Dr. Keshia Brown, as well as have ‘build a pet’ activities for the littles.”
Setup on the Mediterranean-themed terrace, the venue was filled with fun, food, and blooming flowers. Fashion highlights included fascinators, white gloves, and shades of pink.
Our guests couldn’t stop smiling as they entered a room of floating roses with a real ballerina performance to greet them. Gina Payne, an outstanding violinist, provided live music throughout the lunch along with dancing butterflies that welcomed each guest at the entrance.

Looking back on her first-ever Mommy & Me Tea Party, Tanya couldn’t be more pleased.
“The Mommy & Me Tea Party provided a time for fellowship and support for new Moms as well as networking and spending one-on-one time with their children,” she explains. “We had boys as well as girls who attended. We got so many inquiries we are planning for Mommy and Me Tea Party #2 soon.”
