After co-creating and successfully running MunaLuchi Bride, the #1 bridal magazine catering to brides of color, Jacqueline Nwobu saw the additional lack of diversity within motherhood sites and blogs. More importantly, she recognized a huge void in party planning websites and resources within the US and Canada. Her solution for this — MunaMommy.
As Founder of MunaMommy, and a millennial mom, Jacqueline sought to create a space where the parenting stories, especially those that relate to black parents, could be shared. She also wanted to create a safe community and vetted database of entrepreneurs that serve the multicultural parenting community.
It’s important that we remain a place not only for pretty photo curation, but insightful and meaningful conversations on parenting, motherhood, and everything in-between. We look forward to building this community with you and for you, and encourage you to share your ideas with us. Let us know what you are loving about our blog and what you’d like to see more of.
