Teaching self-regulation to toddlers. They definitely understand more than we think. Repost from @missenocha • My goal with my children is less about academic intelligence and more about emotional intelligence. The latter gets you a lot further in life. One thing I learned being a mom is that kids understand way more than we give them credit for. Even at a very young age. So many people ask me “how I did this or that” and my answer is always we started young. They might not get it right away and that’s ok but normalizing it young makes it so much easier when they’re older.
